Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

pimads uses a small number of first-party cookies and local storage keys, all of them functional. This page lists every single one. There are no third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

01What this page covers

Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. pimads sets cookies for exactly two reasons: to keep you signed in, and to remember interface preferences such as your theme and active workspace. We also use the browser’s local storage for a few preferences that never need to reach our servers. Everything below is set by pimads itself; no cookie on pimads.app belongs to a third party.

02Cookies pimads sets

The complete list:

CookiePurposeDuration
better-auth.session_tokenKeeps you signed in. Set when you log in, required for the app to work.Until it expires or you sign out
better-auth.session_dataShort-lived cached copy of your session so pages do not need a database lookup on every request.5 minutes
pimads_wsRemembers which workspace is currently active.1 year
pimads_sidebarRemembers whether you collapsed the sidebar.1 year
pimads_themeRemembers your dark or light theme choice.1 year
meta_oauth_state / google_oauth_stateProtects the ad-platform connection flow against cross-site request forgery. Set only while you are connecting an account.10 minutes

The session cookies are strictly necessary: without them you cannot stay logged in. The preference cookies only make the interface remember how you left it.

03Local storage

These keys live in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device, are never sent to our servers, and exist only so the interface remembers your choices:

KeyWhat it stores
pimads_hide_inactiveYour “Hide inactive” toggle on the Campaigns page.
pimads_draftmodeWhether draft mode (queue Meta edits, review, publish) is on.
pimads_ai_dismissedWhich AI digest suggestions you dismissed, so they stay hidden.
pimads_metric_columnsThe metric columns you picked in the campaign table.

04No advertising or analytics

pimads sets no third-party advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, and does no cross-site tracking. That is the honest state of the product today. If this ever changes, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

05How to clear them

Signing out removes your session. To remove everything, clear cookies and site data for pimads.app in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site settings, or via the padlock icon in the address bar). The effect is harmless: you will be signed out, and preferences such as theme, active workspace, and chosen table columns reset to their defaults. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser, but the session cookie is required to sign in, so the app will not work without it.

06Changes to this policy

If we add, remove, or rename a cookie or storage key, we will update this list. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision. How cookies relate to your personal data is covered in the Privacy Policy.

07Contact

Questions about cookies on pimads can go to the pimads operator through the contact channel you received with your beta access.
