Workspaces
A workspace is one client or one project: its ad accounts, its members, its rules, and its notifications. You can create as many as you need and switch between them.
One binding per platform
Each workspace binds exactly one Meta ad account and one Google Ads customer, chosen in Settings > Ad account. This keeps every number, rule, and report in a workspace unambiguous. If you manage multiple clients, give each client their own workspace; your platform connections can be reused across them.
Roles
Members have one of three roles:
- Viewer: read-only. Can open the dashboard, campaigns, analytics, and reports, but cannot change anything in pimads or in the ad accounts.
- Editor: everything a viewer can, plus editing campaigns, working with rules, and acting on the pending actions queue.
- Owner: everything an editor can, plus workspace settings: connections, the ad account binding, members and their roles, and the Slack webhook.
Inviting members
Invites work through secret links rather than emailed invitations:
- Go to Settings > Members.
- Choose the role the new member should have.
- Click Copy link and send the link to them over a channel you trust.
- They open the link, sign up or sign in, and land in your workspace with that role.
Careful
Slack notifications
Each workspace can mirror all of its notifications, rule proposals, watchdog findings, connection problems, and the rest, into a Slack channel through an incoming webhook:
- Open api.slack.com/apps and create an app (or open an existing one) in your Slack workspace.
- In the app's features, choose Incoming Webhooks and switch them on.
- Add a new webhook, pick the channel it should post to, and copy the webhook URL Slack gives you.
- In pimads, paste that URL in Settings > Workspace and save.
From then on, everything that lands in the in-app inbox is also posted to that channel. Remove the URL to stop mirroring.
